A plane doing its best impression of intentional cloud seeding (“Into the moon 3”, by K Bahr)

Contrails, clouds of fuel condensed
Left some thinkers quite incensed;
All such clouds are chemically made
Of unburnt fuel, in ice displayed
Could aeroplanes which supplement
Fuel with water, have been sent
To seed a cloud - with different things?
Unlikely seems, tho' time now brings
New suspicions to give it wings.
