Haitian Cannibals! So time
Comes full circle, or rhyme
Repeats about the uncouth?
But shall instead we have the truth?
Haiti, they say, has for decades
Been but a star that fades--
But troth--! since 1791
This same tale is spun--
A story ended before it had begun.
