Of the Child cookbook, if you are able
Have it at a diner; true diner fare
Is a ham sandwich with Gruyere --
Made with french toast! Or battered
Maybe corn-fried; if it mattered
Would you guess why menus feature
It now? Disneyland. Our culture
Is a cartoon; we are its creature.
