We are given the moniker "Imane" To one such woman who found her fame For winning boxing was turned about That she is a woman some may doubt; Her opponent had never been hit so hard Olympics didn't drop her a red card Though the same year, disqualified-- On a hormone test, if she's not lied Testosterone has been her guide.
Author’s note: As of this writing there’s no evidence that the boxer in question is not genetically female; she did however get disqualified from another womens’ competition based on a hormone test. In terms of womens competitions, it appears to all add up to the same thing. Which brings up a second question, Imane, what did you do to raise your T? Many on the internet would like to know, especially since it doesn’t seem to involve the usual JUICE.
Author’s second note: I’m rather sure the name is pronounced “ee-mah-nay”, since only English and French seem to like putting unutterable letters on the ends of words. I’m not changing it.
I'm not in the "she's-a-man" camp (as far as I know she has an intersex condition), but the fact that her name could be a masculine or a feminine rhyme gives me a little too much childish amusement. Imain or Imanee? Well-trained or 'well-trannied'?
