The happening already happened, my friend.
So many happenings that in the end
Nothing really happens at all
Or nothing like we used to call
"The happening" -- but by degrees
Every cold conflict starts to unfreeze
As cooler heads refuse to react
And hotter ones remain quite intact--
And the redder color becomes just a fact.
