Finally, we are about to see 
the sun at its apogee 
or else something of its like 
the swooping hawk, the butcher-shrike 
a massacre of the innocent? 
instead something heaven sent? 
nay, but those who make a king 
may find unmaking him to bring 
for them instead, a reckoning.
